Update from Seminarian Jones
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
Krysti, Jasmine, and I have been very blessed by the many ways you have supported us at the Seminary. Your prayer, financial support, and friendship have been a tremendous blessing to our family! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
To give an update on my studies, I have entered into the final year of my preparations for the pastoral ministry. And, I am not sure if it the reality that I am almost a pastor or that Krysti and I are first time parents, but this year is flying by quite quickly. The placement process for our first congregation is already in full swing too. Nerves, anxiousness, and excitement are just a few of our current emotions. We know, trust, and understand wherever God sends us will be where we are supposed to be.
As a prayer request, many of you know that while I am training for ministry, Krysti is also completing her MSW. While this quarter (6 graduate classes in 7 weeks) has been trying for me, next quarter Krysti begins her final internship here in St. Louis (40 hrs/week). We would love for you to pray that as we are completing our studies, God would help provide us balance as we are still learning how to be parents.
We pray that as you celebrate Thanksgiving and move into the Advent season, God would bless you all greatly; and, we look forward to seeing you all in the Christmas Season!
Christian, Krysti, & Jasmine Jones
