Why become a weekEND HUNGER Sponsor?
Michigan is suffering from one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation. In almost every community there are hungry children who wake up with little or no food. Families rely on free and reduced meals at school to keep their children nourished during the week, but on weekends children have little to nothing to eat. By becoming a sponsor, you can help children reach their full potential to become the future of their communities.
“Nutrition and Education go hand in hand. Our future depends on the quality of education, but a hungry child can’t learn and an uneducated adult can’t earn.”
